Currently, Industrias Cárnicas Villar has two production plants in Los Rábanos (Soria) and Burguillos del Cerro (Badajoz). Through a combination of tradition and innovation, at these two sites the processes of the agri-foods chain are undertaken in line with industry guidelines.
The primary plant at Los Rábanos has 47 drying rooms for cured legs and shoulders of ham and 28 for cold meats, along with a separate building for product processing and slicing.
The Burguillos del Cerro (Badajoz) plant is home to the production processes for Iberian products, many of which are recipients of the 'Dehesa de Extremadura' Designation of Origin. This is a beautiful site amidst holm and cork oaks, with the wonderfully refreshing breeze from the mountains of the region which proves highly beneficial for the time these Iberian products spend in cellars curing.
Grupo Villar is fully committed to offering the highest quality and variety in its white and Iberian pork products, and the company sells to markets in Europe, Central and South America, Asia and Australasia.
